The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Yogyakarta State University (UNY) has again produced academics with doctoral degrees. On April 10, 2026, an Open Session for Doctoral Promotion was held on behalf of Gamarina Isti Ratnasari. This solemn academic event marked the peak of the promovenda's study journey in the Bachelor of Mathematics Education Program at the university that is the pride of the people of Yogyakarta.

Even though it took place offline with strict academic standards, this open session could be witnessed by the wider community from various parts of the region.
